News: Benicio Del Toro To Be Star Trek’s Big Bad?
Ooh, this is potentially good news – Director J.J. Abrams is sounding out Benicio Del Toro for the main villain role in the new Star Trek movie. Del Toro is a phenomenal actor and can steal a movie right from under anyone. Remember his mumbling Fred Fenster in The Usual Suspects? Yeah you do. Dr Gonzo in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? Yup, because he stole the picture. I also recommend the fantastic, but little seen, The Way Of The Gun. Great film. Anyway, should this awesome bit of casting come off, and it’s coupled with Abrams fresh and exciting take on the franchise, the new Star Trek movie could be something special. Fingers crossed!
