News: Pixar’s Monsters University Teaser Trailer
Pixar’s Brave has just been released in the States and is receiving mixed reviews among certain critics, which is unusual for a Pixar film. It seems that Merida’s tale might play it a little too safe. Accusing fingers have pointed to Disney’s (meddling) influence as Brave is the first film to be produced entirely since their buy-out/amalgamation of Pixar. And speaking of which, Pixar’s next feature is Monsters University, a prequel to Monsters Inc. Playing it safe?
Of course, Monsters Inc. is a joyous little flick packed full of wonderful characters and if ever there was a Pixar film whose world deserved a second exploration, then this is probably it. Judging by the clip, Mike and Sulley will remain as funny as ever. The synopsis reads – “Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.”
But still, all being said, is this enough justification for the sequel? What would you prefer – Pixar making new stories, with new characters and worlds, or the return of characters we love? Let us know below.

i would prefer if they explored older characters which we are already had time to get used to having universes that are too vast (character wise) can sometimes get boring or get too big to follow i feel its better if the already existing characters get larger story-lines.
