Third parts are notoriously difficult in films. If things haven’t been planned out from the start they feel like horrible cash-ins, where that once fresh and original idea has long since milked dry. At best you ignore them, deny they ever existed. At worst, they kill off all the enjoyment you had in the series. The Dark Knight Rises is Christopher Nolan’s final part in his Dark Knight trilogy. We’ve been teased with snippets of Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack for The Dark Knight Rises over recent weeks and from what we’ve heard everything has sounded suitably epic. News: Exclusive Nokia The Dark Knight Rises Trailer

This one kind of snuck up on us – Ailing phone giant Nokia have an exclusive trailer from The Dark Knight Rises, containing some sparkly new never-seen-before footage. Here was I thinking we’d have to make do with TV spots until the film’s released, so this is a nice little surprise that will raise expectation levels just a little bit higher.
