News: First Look At Russell Crowe In Darren Aronofsky’s Noah

Darren Aronofsky is one of my favourite directors. His work is usually bleak (Requiem For A Dream is CRUSHING) and populated by flawed and self-destructive characters, but I can’t get enough of it. He was attached to the Batman reboot before Warner Bros. settled on Christopher Nolan, and was even due to direct The Wolverine for Fox before having to drop out because of the long overseas shoot. I would have very much liked to have seen that. Anyway, that freed him up to make the long gestating project of Noah.

News: Man Of Steel Teaser Trailer Debuted At San Diego Comic Con

Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel was a big part of the Legendary Pictures/Warner Bros. panel at the San Diego Comic Con this weekend. Snyder introduced a teaser trailer for the new Superman film that we’ll all be able to see before The Dark Knight Rises from this Friday. News: Man Of Steel – First Shots Of Russell Crowe As Jor-El

You know, Marlon Brando had some pretty wacky ideas when filming his brief cameo as Jor-El in Superman. Oh, like, for example, suggesting to producers that Jor-El could be ANYTHING, maybe even a talking green suitcase. Or  a giant bagel. I don’t think Russell Crowe will be espousing quite the same ideas while he’s on set of Man Of Steel. In fact, let’s check him out –
