Is it fair to say that The Amazing Spider-Man is the least anticipated of this year’s superhero movies? Is it the thought of sitting through the origin story AGAIN, so soon after the last version, that’s putting us off? Or is it that it’s up against the likes of Whedon’s The Avengers and Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises which is dulling the impact of the webslinger? It maybe neither, it could be both. What I do know is that Sony is cranking up the hype machine in readiness for release and we are getting a lot of new stuff to pore over. Let’s get to it. Continue reading

News: The Amazing Spider-Man Posters and Brand New Trailer

The Avengers, the first in a trifecta of superhero movies this summer is out (or almost out) the world over. Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises has used this opportunity to release its latest trailer and air it before Marvel Studios’ behemoth, and guess what? So has Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man.
