He wrote and took the reins of The Way Of The Gun in 2000Featuring a cast of nasty, despicable, and truly unlikeable characters, it was vastly underrated and deserved a bigger audience. I really should cover it for Cult Film Corner. Anyway, he’s back behind the camera again for Jack Reacher. Continue reading

A weird one this, but one for which we can all be thankful. Paramount’s Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol will come with a six minute preview/prologue of Warner Bros. The Dark Knight Rises on all IMAX prints. So, you know, if you were intending on seeing Ghost Protocol you’ve got a pretty good excuse to spend that extra penny seeing the IMAX version…

So, why would Paramount and Warner Bros. do this? Continue reading

People love it because… well, when it works it looks quite good. But taking old films and 3D-afying them? Hm, I’m not sure. I can accept Star Wars. Just. We all know Lucas is a tinkerer and an early adopter of any new technology, so it’s almost inevitable. But Top Gun?
